Sloe Picking on Box Hill

We have recently been spending some time at Box Hill with the National Trust picking sloe berries for our up and coming Sloe Gin.
Certainly, on the Surrey Hills, the blackthorns are in great shape and have provided us with a bumper crop of juicy sloe berries.
Our resulting sloe gin should be delicious!
