Guardian Article on Juniper Conservation and Beckett's Gin

Jun 15, 2015

Our conservation works with the National Trust, Forestry Commission and Natural England to save juniper from local extinction are featured in a very nice article by Rachel Williams in The Guardian today.

It describes the issues we face in turning around juniper's decline partly due to its reluctance to re-introduce itself naturally. It also explains how important our work is in striving to save such an important indigenous plant in England and the unique provenance of Beckett's in using English juniper berries to produce our gin.
